Summary PML-N leaders held media talk in which they criticised PTI Chairman Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) accused the political rivals of using false propaganda to make Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for Panama case controversial.

PMLN-N leaders held a press conference in the capital where they criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stated Hussain Nawaz appeared before JIT despite objections, adding that leaking his photo was not appropriate. WhatsApp calls matter was raised by senior journalist Ansar Abbasi while PML-N respects rule of law, he added.

Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan was also present in the media talk. He reaffirmed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s sons appeared before JIT and its example cannot be traced in past. He claimed that it was clear what the rivals wanted to do by leaking the photograph, recalling false reports of Hussain Nawaz’s sickness during interrogation.

While shedding light on PTI government’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), he claimed the provincial accountability body remains closed for two years, asking who will hold the corrupt ministers accountable. He also discussed the corruption in Sindh government while saying that condition of Larkana and Karachi had become poorer.

They highlighted the allegations raised by PTI Chief on other institutions in past while claiming that the rival political parties were doing everything for vengeance. They suggested everyone should look forward for the betterment of the country. “We made written objection against JIT,” they said.

PML-N leaders expressed hope for justice in the apex court.
