Summary Pakistan Army gave befitting response to the firing.
KOTLI (Dunya News) – At least three citizens on Thursday sustained severe wounds as Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing in Battal, Jandrot and Tatta Pani sectors.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army gave befitting response to the firing, targeting check posts of the Indian Army.
India and Pakistan have fought three wars since their independence in 1947, two of them over the Muslim-majority Himalayan region of Kashmir which they both claim in full but rule in part.
Clashes between their forces in Kashmir largely stopped after a 2003 ceasefire but exchanges of fire have been more common over the past couple of years.
The international bodies have continued to urge both countries to resolve their disputes through dialogue.
