Summary Governor said that the law and order situation in Karachi has been improved by Rangers operation.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair on Thursday lashed out at Sindh government, saying that education, health, infrastructure and transport sectors have been badly destroyed due to the negligence of the provincial authorities.

Addressing a seminar held under Islamic Finance, Sindh governor said that the law and order situation in Karachi has been improved by Rangers operation after which the tourists have started arriving in the metropolis.

He said that the Rangers would be exercising the authorities until the elimination of criminal activities in the city. He also said that private and government departments need to work together for the betterment of economy in the city.

On February 3, Muhammad Zubair was appointed as the 32nd Governor of Sindh after Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui passed away.

Swearing-in ceremony was attended by Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah among other dignitaries while the oath was administered by Chief Justice (CJ) of Sindh High Court, Sajjad Ali Shah.

While addressing the ceremony, Zubair had vowed to work in the best interest of the people and effectively perform his duties as the Governor of Sindh. Muhammad Zubair had paid a visit to Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and offered Fateha in first gesture as the governor.
