Summary PMD has predicted rainfall in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore and Gujranwala division.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rainfall in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore and Gujranwala division on Thursday however; intense hot weather is likely in upper Sindh and south Punjab.

After rain and hailstorm in various cities of the country, the sun is set to shine with full strength

Light rainfall in Islamabad and strong winds in Lahore yesterday minimized the temperature but the mercury level continues to increase as the new day approached.

In the next 48 hours, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Malakand division, Hazara, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Thursday morning was:

Islamabad and Gilgit 15°C, Lahore 22°C, Karachi 28°C, Peshawar 18°C, Quetta 12°C, Muzaffarabad 13°C, Murree 11°C.
