Summary Railway administration says over 200 houses were established around Railway Station illegally
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Dozens of homes around the railway station were on Saturday demolished as they were built illegally on land owned by Pakistan Railways. Over 200 houses had been illegally constructed around Railway Station, claimed the railway administration, reported Dunya News.
Pakistan Railways is keen on getting the land it owns freed in Karachi. Dozens of illegal houses were thus demolished today near the airport. The administration claimed that the occupants had been given legal notices two months ago but they didn’t evacuate the houses.
