Summary Eight terrorists of a banned outfit were killed in exchange of fire with police in Sheikhupura.
SHEIKHUPURA Dunya News) – A major terror bid to target Lahore was foiled when eight terrorists were killed in exchange of fire with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in Sheikhupura on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, CTD carried out an operation in Sheikhupura on intelligence reports and killed eight terrorists in encounter while four of their accomplices managed to escape.
Two CTD personnel were also wounded in exchange of fire with the terrorists.
The CTD sources said that the dead terrorists belonged to a banned organization. The CTD personnel also recovered three kilograms of explosive material, three Kalashnikovs and five pistols from the dead terrorists.
