FIA has updated the Supreme Court about the progress made in National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) corruption case. The SC was informed that two bank managers have been arrested for opening fake accounts for payments to Moonis Elahi. A four member bench of the SC led by CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the NICL case. FIA Additional Director Gen Zafar Qureshi said that payment of Rs 22 crore to Moonis Elahi from another account has been proved. FIA Director Muazzam Jah said that 20 organizations have been contacted for the identification of assets of Amin Qasim Dada while red warrants have been issued to bring back the 3 co-accused from US, UK and Dubai. The SC adjourned the hearing for two weeks.
