Summary

The Sindh government on Monday axed as many as 12 of its advisors belonging to PML-F and PPP, Dunya News reported. The decision has been taken in line with the 18th amendment as demanded by PML-N. However, of the 17 advisors, 5 would continue with their work. The sacked advisors included: Waqas Malik, Sharmeela Farooqui, Siddique Abu Bhai, Muhammad Kamran, Imtiaz Sheikh, Jameel Soomro, Dinsha Askasria, Babar Leghari, Mufti Feroze, Jehangir Dilawar Khanji, Sardar Amir Khan and Ghulam Qadir Malkani. Meanwhile, talking to Dunya News, ex-advisor to the CM Sindh, Sahrmeela Farooqui said that the Chief Minister has to take the decision as part of the implementation of 18th amendment. Imtiaz Sheikh, former advisor said that it is a party decision and we accept it.
