Jamhoori Watan Party leader Shahzain Bugti has said that some elements wanted to start a violence in Quetta and he will hold long march today. Meanwhile, ban has been put on arms carrying in Quetta, Sukkur and Karachi and all arms licenses have been canceled. Talking to media in Karachi, shahzain said that efforts would be made to stop long march but they will not succeed. He said that long march would be hold at any cost and he will start long march from tomorrow. He said that he is hopeful that the government would not create hurdles in holding long march. It is pertinent to mention that the Balochistan High Court has granted the bail of Shahzain and 26 others on submission of surety bonds worth Rs 500,000 each. The grandson of the late Nawab Akbar Bugti, Shahzain and 26 others were arrested by paramilitary troops of the Frontier Corps at the Buleli check post when they recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including anti-aircraft guns, on December 22, 2010. Shahzain had announced that he would hold the long march to rehabilitate the people of the Bugti tribe who had been displaced during the military operation launched by former president General Pervez Musharraf.
