The Supreme Court on Wednesday held back its verdict on contempt of court case against the PCO judges, Dunya News reported. A 4-member bench comprising Justice Mahmood Akhtar Shahid Siddiqui, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Tariq Pervez heard the case of PCO judges. During the course of hearing, Justice Jawwad.S Khwaja observed that prior to issuing verdict in the said case, it would be decided whether to send notices to Army Generals. On this, counsel of Justice Husnat asked the court to stop the hearing till the decision to the abovesaid issue, the hearing of the contempt case showed that the court is targeting the black coats only and not taking any action against uniform , the counsel argued. The counsels of judges Dr. Basit, Ibrahim Satti, Waseem Sajjad and S.M. Zafar Advocate argued that the judges are exempted from contempt proceedings. The court reserved the judgment after hearing the complete arguments.
