PCO judges lawyer Dr. Abdul Basit said that army was responsible for violation of law while attempts were being made to create Russia-like situation in the country. A 4-member bench of the SC led by Justice Shahid Siddiqui heard the contempt of court case against PCO judges. Justice Hasnaat Ahmeds lawyer Abdul Basit said in his arguments that bridle should be put on army to avoid violation of the law and constitution in future. He said that further mess would be seen if judges are punished.
