Summary India is using US-made drones to spy along the Line of Control
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Office on Thursday has branded spy measures of India along the Line of Control using United States-made drones a threat to the region.
Spokesperson for the Foreign Office, Nafees Zakaria has cleared Pakistan’s stance over use of night-vision drones by India to spy Pakistan at the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri sectors.
In a statement issued, Zakaria said that the office does not want to comment on Indian-US defence cooperation however, in the past as well, Pakistan has expressed reservation over possibility of cooperation affecting Pakistan’s interests in the region.
Zakaria said that recent terror attacks in Pakistan were conducted by India and the agencies hold credible evidence to back the allegations.
He further confirmed that two detained Pakistani youths would return to the country tomorrow.
While commenting on issue over arrest of Indian spy last year named Kulbhushan Jadhav, the spokesperson said that Pakistan has raised the issue with the neighbouring state but no reply has been received so far.
The statement of the office has come in after US-made drones took off in two sectors whose data centre was established in Sri Nagar of the Occupied Kashmir valley.
Earlier on November 20, 2016, Pakistan army shot down an Indian drone at the LoC in Rakh Chakri sector.
