Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday said that Pakistan was willing to hold talks with India on all outstanding issues including core issue of Kashmir. He was apprising the parliamentary meeting of Muslim Conference about Pakistans stance on the Kashmir issue at Kashmir House. Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Attique was also present on this occasion. Pakistan is willing to address the issue in line with aspiration of Kashmiri people and UN resolutions, he said. The minister said there were no two opinions to support Kashmiris right of self-determination; We may have differences over domestic issues and way of thinking but we all are one over Kashmir issue.Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan had raised voice of Kashmiri people on all international platforms and recently held Kashmiri exhibition at European Union parliament in Brussels with support of Kashmir Media Cell. Pakistan has reiterated its historical and principled stance on Kashmir issue at UN General Assembly session, he said. He said that for lasting peace and stability in the region, Kashmir issue should be resolved according to aspirations of Kashmiri people. The minister said Kashmir was part of dialogue whenever Pakistani leadership met with the Indian counterparts, adding Pakistan recognizes there was a third party to the issue which are Kashmiri people on both sides of Line of Control.He said that Foreign Secretaries of both countries were meeting in later this month to discuss agenda of talks and he would likely to visit New Delhi in first quarter of this year if there was breakthrough in talks.I will go there after seeking suggestions of Kashmiri people and their leadership and will stand firm on our principles. Shah Mehmood Qureshi lauded unprecedented sacrifices of Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination. He said after June 2010 Kashmiri struggle had entered into new phase where Kashmiri youth was leading non-violent struggle of freedom.He said that with peaceful struggle Kashmiri people had succeeded to get attention of international community and it wanted solution of this core issues between Pakistan and India.The day was not far when ideologies and principles are prove victorious, he said.Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Sardar Attique on this occasion congratulated people of occupied Kashmir for their boldness ,forthrightness and adherence to their ideological course and rejection of all means of Indian coercions.He said All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference decided to observe 2011 as the year of Kashmiri Rights to Self-determination, adding this decision marks solidarity with the struggling elements and masses in occupied Kashmir.Sardar Attique said people of AJK, IHK and Kashmir diaspora were much thankful to the people and government of Pakistan for brave, bold and consistent support to Kashmiris and their cause.He said Kashmiris were not against any country in the region but they were certainly against the illegal, immoral occupation of parts of Jammu and Kashmir State by India in violation of relevant UN Security Councils resolutions on Kashmir.
