Summary PML-N positions based on performance, in PTI positions are given to those with money, says minister
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb has on Wednesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan must answer the allegations of foreign funding and his own offshore company, reported Dunya News.
Lashing out at PTI chairman, Maryam said that party positions in Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) were given only on the basis of performance but in PTI only those with power and money are given positions. She advised Imran Khan to work for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) where PTI is in power instead of doing the politics of hate, bigotry and anarchy.
Maryam said that in order to compete with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Imran will have to adopt constructive politics. She said that Imran Khan should have also talked about the peace, economic stability, first Motorway, power project and Green Line transit project also while on Karachi’s visit.
“We could have taken political advantage of the situation in KP and Imran Khan wouldn’t have been in government there. Federation appointed people in Karachi for Sindh’s benefit only Muhammad Zubair’s appointment as governor was a clear proof of the same”.
The state minister claimed that the peace in Karachi was a result of PM’s vision while on the other hand there had not been set even a single energy project, hospital ward or school in KP.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that the world was giving positive reviews of Pakistan whereas Imran Khan always had a negative view of the things. She also invited Imran Khan to work together with the government for the prosperity and progress of Pakistan ‘under PM Nawaz Sharif’s leadership’.
She further said that while PM was worried about the challenges faced by Pakistan, Imran was worried about his own power only.
