Mounting US pressure behind action against JuD: analyst
Kamran Khan said the government would announce decision pertaining to ban on JuD at any time soon.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistani government is taking measures to impose complete ban on Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and Nawaz regime has started initial steps in this regard, revealed senior anchorperson and analyst Kamran Khan.
US had increased pressure on Pakistan and warned Pakistani government to either take action against Saeed or face consequences in form of sanctions. Federal government has buckled under the pressure.

According to details, JuD is all set for recurrence in guise of ‘Tehreek-e-Azadi Kashmir’ (Kashmir Freedom Movement).
Council of JuD had ratified this decision and Saeed had formally made an announcement when he termed 2017 as ‘year for Kashmir’ and announced to initiate countrywide movement in support for oppressed Kashmiri brothers.
Kamran Khan termed this a ‘hard decision’ and said the PML-N government would announce decision pertaining to ban on JuD at any time soon.
Earlier, the provincial authorities on Monday issued orders to place Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed under house arrest.
