Muhammad Zubair likely to be appointed as Sindh Governor

Zubair is expected to take oath as the governor on Tuesday or Wednesday.

ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) - Federal Government has decided to appoint Federal Minister and Chairman Privatization Commission, Muhammad Zubair as Sindh governor. In this regard, all preparations have been completed.

Zubair is expected to take oath as the governor on Tuesday or Wednesday. Formal notification by the federal government is yet to be issued.

The seat fell vacant after death of Justice (retd) Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui due to illness. The 79-year-old only served for 2 months which made him the shortest-serving governor in Sindh’s history.
