Struggle for long lasting peace in Karachi will go on: COAS Gen Bajwa
Army Chief assured industrialists and traders that Karachi operation will continue till peace
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa met the traders’ community in Karachi on Thursday.
Moreover, COAS also met Rangers officers. During address, he stated that we will keep up our struggle for the long lasting peace in Karachi.
The traders briefed Army Chief about the recent situation of business. COAS assured traders’ community that Karachi operation will continue for the sake of peace process. Moreover, he promised further improvement in the provincial capital of Sindh.

“Karachi operation will not be stopped. The concerns of traders will be addressed”, he added. General Qamar Bajwa suggested that traders and industrialists are the backbone of economy.
He promised that Sindh Rangers will eradicate street crime in the province. On the other hand, traders called for an annual extension of powers for Rangers rather than after every three months.
