LAHORE (Dunya News) – Storage of furniture at Lakshmi Chowk caught fire on Monday engulfing goods worth lacs of Rupees however, no casualties were reported.
Third floor of a three-storey was ablaze and rescue teams put out the fire within around two hours.
Reportedly, fire fighters struggled with the cause owing to narrow streets and old buildings. The installation is surrounded by residential buildings and shops.
However, according to the rescue officials, reason behind the fire is yet to be traced.
