Summary Shehbaz took notice of Dunya News' report, ordered report within three days from officials
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has on Saturday taken notice of the report by Dunya News revealing fraud in treasury department. CM ordered provincial Finance Minister, Finance Secretary and Anti-Corruption DG within three days, reported Dunya News.
According to details, various applicants had submitted millions of rupees in Lahore Civil Court’s office. Civil witness Rana Ishtiaq orchestrated a huge fraud in connivance with his aides and prepared fake cheques to extort 70 million rupees from the applicants illegally.
CM has ordered Anti-Corruption DG to immediately arrest the perpetrators in the case.
