Summary Syed Ali Gilani was not permitted by forces today to offer Friday prayer
SRINAGAR (Dunya News) – Occupying forces in held-Kashmir have martyred a youth on Friday however, thousands of locals attended funeral prayer of late Muzaffar Ahmed despite severe snowfall.
The youth was shot dead in Budgam District in the morning today. Locals demonstrated a protest and led a rally against the killing. Troops, under orders of the Indian government, resorted to shelling to foil the just protest.
Meanwhile, leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) are still under house arrest. Puppet government in the Indian-held Kashmir refused to permit Syed Ali Gilani to offer Friday prayer today.
India has been forcefully occupying Kashmir valley for at least seven decades and has gone to war with Pakistan at least two times over the dispute.
