Pakistan holds terms with Bahrain in high esteem: PM

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said on Tuesday that Pakistan holds terms with Bahrain in high regards and esteem.



The premier convened a meeting with Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Isa in the federal capital.

On the occasion, PM Nawaz said that Pakistani government considers Bahrain its ally and attaches immense importance to ties with her. He accredited visit of leader of Bahrain in 2014 for better relations between the two states.

The premier said that Pakistani expatriates in Bahrain serve as a bridge between the two sides.

It should be mentioned here that Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Zakaullah’s visit to Bahrain is scheduled this month which will lead to strengthened ties between the two naval forces.
