In his last ditch efforts to save the coalition government, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday is likely to meet PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujat Hussain at his Lahore residence besides CM Shahbaz Sharif. In the wake of the announcement by MQM to split ways with the incumbent government, the PM is out to stitch up either a new coalition or save the current one. Earlier, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani telephoned PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and according to the sources the premier has sought cooperation from the third largest party in the National Assembly.The PM and the PML-Q leaders are likely to take stock of the prevalent political crisis. The political analysts are of the view that Gilani would woo PML-Q to support it, in case the President asks the former to obtain vote of confidence from the House and prove majority.
