LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC), Mansoor Ali Shah is to begin hearing of Punjab land scam case on January 2 after Dunya News reported the scandal earlier this month.
Primary suspect, Chaudhry Arshad among others used forged orders of courts to grab pieces of land expanding over 1.93 lac canals across the province.
Once the scam was exposed by Dunya News, LHC CJ ordered sessions judge to immediately file a report. The report submitted by the judge within 15 days held the claim of Dunya News correct.
According to the development in the issue that surfaced today, CJ Mansoor Ali Shah will start to hear the case on January 2.
