Zardari confirms his links with Anwar Majeed

Zardari reached Quaid's mausoleum and laid a floral wreath on his grave.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Former president and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday confirmed that he has relations with Anwar Majeed but pronounced that it will be too early to say anything as the matter is in the court.

Asif Zardari gave these remarks while speaking to media after offering fateha at Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi.



On the occasion, he pledged to make Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan.

Speaking indirectly, he advised the media to think positive and do not make news only for the sake producing it.

Zardari said that the media should point out the faults but should portray everyone as positive.

He admitted of having relations with Anwar Majeed and also expressed hope that Dr Asim will be surely provided justice.

The former president was seen in a quite pleasing mood however; he avoided to answer question regarding announcement of a ‘good news‘ on December 27.

Afterwards, he visited Dr Asim in National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Abdullah Shah Ghazi mausoleum.

Earlier, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardar also arrived at the Quaid’s mausoleum to offer Fateha and lay a floral wreath.

In his brief talk with media, Bilawal said that an vivid-minded Pakistan was the dream of Quaid-e-Azam.

He pronounced that they will make Pakistan according to the vision of the Quaid.
