Sources said that Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, who is in Karachi these days has been given the uphill task to get round the angry coalition partners, will meet with the leaders of MQM again. Meanwhile on Wednesday night, in his second meeting with Sindh Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad, President Asif Ali Zardari reassured the former of redressal of his partys reservations soon. The meeting was also attended by Federal Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik and Federal Minister Khursheed Shah, which mulled over resolutions to MQMs worries on various national issues.President reassured Ebad to address MQMs reservations, adding that his party, PPP, would take MQM along in the face of all odds. According to political pundits, the MQM would rejoin the coalition only if PPP acts against Zulfiqar Mirza whose diatribe against the former led to the prevailing political crises that now threaten the incumbent government. On the other hand, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman yesterday refused to reenter the coalition fold, putting forward the removal of PM Gilani as his condition for further talks. Fazal had left for a 10-day tour to Saudi to perform Umrah.
