Former senior officials, Saud Aziz and Khurram Shehzad, were sent to Adiala Jail on a 14-day judicial remand by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Benazir Bhutto murder case. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) produced both police officials before the court with the plea of extending their physical remand for another nine days. The court, however, rejected the FIA plea after hearing arguments of both sides. Later, the court adjourned the hearing till January 12.
