As many as 9 people including two activists of a religious outfit have been mowed down in separate incidents in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. Some 20 people were also reported injured. Unidentified men gunned down a hotelier Qadir Khan (32) in Pak Colony. According to police, Qadir had assisted the government during the Bajaur operation, which led to several arrested of the terrorists. He migrated to Karachi after receiving threats. Akbar (38) killed his sister-in-law Rohi and one Sanaullah (29) in Zia Colony, Korangi while unknown felons shot dead 45-year-old Imam Khan in Gari Khatay area. A religious outfit member Shoaib has been gunned down in New Karachi whereas another member Shahzad Khalid and a minor Dania (6) was killed while he was sitting in his car in Civil Aviation Society. Shahid a drug-peddler was gunned down near Chiragh Hotel, Liaquatabad; an unknown man was axed to death in Gulshan Chowrangi. At least 20 people also got injured in different parts of Karachi.
