Summary NAB started investigation into record computerisation project against three former FBR chairmen
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has on Saturday opened investigations against three former Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairmen and former collector Ashir Azeem in a record computerisation project, reported Dunya News.
According to NAB sources, important advancement has been made into the corruption case regarding record computerisation project. The inquiry against three former chairmen including Ali Arshad Hakeem, Salman Siddique and Abdullah Yousuf has been turned into an investigation upon attainment of new evidence.
The three men booked have been alleged of awarding the contract to a company against the rules, misusing their powers. The national exchequer was dented by Rs 11 million by awarding the contract to the company.
Sources told that two former collectors, Mian Azhar and Ashir Azeem, are also nominated in the alleged corruption case.
