Summary An inquiry of the scam would formally begin on Saturday
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Sessions judge has presented a report to Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC) over major land scam which was exposed a couple of days ago by Dunya News.
A three-page report that was filed in the LHC today stated that hearings of pending cases over bogus verdicts of courts would be held on daily basis and an inquiry would be completed within 15 days.
An inquiry of the scam would formally begin on Saturday while relevant persons could record their statements.
On the other hand, the committee formed by the government to probe the issue has verified scoop of Dunya News. Moreover, the committee has decided to expand the scale of investigations.
A couple of days earlier Dunya News exposed a huge scam involving land grabbing using forged documents and fake orders of courts in Punjab.
The development came in over Chief Justice of LHC, Mansoor Ali Shah s order to file a report over the issue.
