Summary 'ADB has reserved $1 billion for Pakistan for the purpose of protection against natural disasters'

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Asian Development Bank (ADB) is to provide Pakistan USD 200 million tranche as a deal was signed by representatives of the two parties on Friday.

Economic Affairs Secretary, Tariq Bajwa and Country Director of ADB, Warner Leep signed the accord in a ceremony that was organised today.

Federal Minister of Finance, Ishaq Dar said that the bank has reserved USD 1 billion for Pakistan for the purpose of protection against natural disasters and the funds would be delivered in five installments.
