Lahore: 4 arrested in actress Kismat Baig murder case
CIA police have arrested four persons, including main accused, in Kismat Baig murder case.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to details, CIA police conducted raids in Faisalabad and Gujranwala and arrested four accused in connection with actress Kismat Baig murder case, Dunya News reported.
Kismat Baig was shot 12 times by unidentified gunmen in Lahore on Movember 24 after which she was immediately shifted to Services Hospital where she succumbed to injuries.
The CIA police arrested four persons, including main accused, during operations in Faisalabad and Gujranwala. The arrested persons were identified as Rana Muzammil, Rana Fahim, Rana Tajammal and Shahid Janhua and were traced through mobile phone record.
Sources said that Rana Muzammil was the main accused in the murder case who had friendship with Kismat Baig. Sources further revealed that the accused came on a rented car and informed Rana Muzammil about the murder on mobile phone after committing the crime.
Sources further revealed that all the arrested accused are police officials and SHOs in police department.
