RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A day after General Qamar Bajwa’s appointment as Pakistan’s new army chief, DG ISPR Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa has clarified on Sunday that the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has no presence on social media.
In a message posted on Twitter, the DG ISPR stated that all Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platform IDs and accounts on General Qamar Bajwa’s name are fake.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa was named as the 16th Chief of Army Staff (COAS) by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday. He will take command of the Pakistan Army from incumbent Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on November 29.
