Miserable cleanliness arrangements go unnoticed at KP hospitals
Out of 1516 hospitals, these incinerators had been placed only inside seven hospitals
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The miserable cleanliness arrangement at the hospitals of KP is a serious questions mark for the provincial health ministry, however no substantial efforts have been made to work out things in this regard.
Provincial Health Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai earlier revealed that incinerators have been installed for disposing off the wastes inside hospital; however, the real situations are completely in contrast with the health minister’s statements.
On the contrary, out of 1516 hospitals, these incinerators had been placed only inside seven hospitals.
Moreover, despite the installation of incinerators at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, the instrument is still not operational.
Something really unusual was witnessed in Hyatabad Medical Complex where the instrument has been ordered but nobody knows as to when it will get installed.
Inside the Molvi Jee, the situation has gone from bad to worse where the wastes are first put inside plastic bags and then later on disposed off.
The incinerator manufacturing company has also revealed that these instruments have only been installed at only nine district hospitals.
The disposal of wastes openly can not only pollute the environment but also be the causation of cancer and hepatitis.
