Commissioner of Indus Water Basin Treaty Jamaat Ali Shah has been removed from his post and deputy water commissioner Sheraz Memon has been given additional charge of acting commissioner. Jamaat Ali Shah has been removed over poor performance in water dispute between Pakistan and India and he has been made OSD. Jamaat Ali Shah was appointed as commissioner in 1993.
