Summary Young doctors have demanded the authorities to restore two doctors and one nurse of Mayo Hospital.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab government on Saturday has formed a four-member committee as Young Doctors Association’s (YDA) sit-in entered fifth day at Lahore’s Mall Road.
Young doctors have demanded the authorities to restore two doctors and one nurse of Mayo Hospital and also warned of continuing the protest until their demands are met.
They have locked the emergency doors and verbally abused other doctors who tried to check the patients.

The protesters while busy in gossips have arranged blankets, quilts and shawls in the camps to fight winter spell.
On the other hand, the locals are facing immense problems as they are making their way by moving over green belts and footpaths due to blockage of roads.

Punjab government while taking action against the protesters had also suspended 15 doctors and five nurses whereas 30 nurses were directed to report to Primary Health Care Department.
Earlier, a child and a cardiac patient also died at Mayo hospital over not receiving timely treatment as the emergency ward has been locked in the aftermath of doctors’ protest.
