LAHORE (Dunya News) - The protest of Young Doctors Association (YDA) seeking the restoration of two doctors and a nurse has entered fourth day at Lahore’s Mall Road today (Friday).
According to sources, the doctors have announced to continue demonstration until their demands are met while the local administration is remain silent over the matter.

On the other hand, Punjab Water Management employees along with their children staged sit-in at Club Chowk, demanding to make them regular.
Earlier, Punjab government while taking action against the protesters suspended 15 doctors and five nurses whereas 30 nurses were directed to report to Primary Health Care Department.
A child and a cardiac patient also died in Mayo hospital over not receiving timely treatment as the emergency ward has been locked in the aftermath of doctors’ protest.
While talking to Dunya News, Adviser to Chief Minister on Health Khwaja Salman Rafique had said that the government has no reservations with young nurses and doctors.
“The doctors were suspended after found guilty however, the protesters have now become aggressive and insensitive”, he added.
Meanwhile, hospital authorities said that they are trying hard to control the situation but the shortage of doctors is causing difficulties.
