Roads linking Islamabad to KPK, Sindh and Punjab blocked
Islamabad-Peshawar motorway has been blocked once again
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Roads to Islamabad has been blocked regardless of their nature and the provinces that are being linked through these passages.
According to details, the authorities have blocked all the roads linking Islamabad to KPK, Sindh and Punjab owing to Nov 2 sit-in by PTI.
Earlier, Islamabad-Peshawar motorway that was opened for one day has again been blocked again through containers and heaps of soil and sand. In addition, G.T Road to Attock has also been blocked while Shahiya Bridge and Wah Garden Bridge had also been made as no-entry points.
National Highway at Sadiqabad linking Sindh and Punjab had also been blocked through containers. Along with Faisalabad Motorway, G.T Road Gujrawala had also been blocked through containers.
To cope up with any kind of emergency situations, bundles of containers have been also been placed outside CM House in Model Town, Lahore.
On the other hand, the general public is extremely annoyed with the closing down of Motorway and G.T Road at different points. Passengers that included women and kids had to cover miles of distance by feet.
