SWABI (Dunya News) – A stage that was arranged on the back of a truck collapsed during Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak’s speech in Swabi.

The incident took place due to overloading on the stage however, CM escaped unhurt in the mishap.

Sources told that a proper inspection of the stage was also carried out before the arrival of Pervez Khattak. 

Talking to the participants of the rally before leaving for Islamabad, Khattak said that PTI will not sit quiet and will consult court if government uses force against the workers.

He vowed to reach Bani Gala at any cost to participate in Islamabad ‘lockdown’.

The minister said that constitution allows every party to hold political activities peacefully.

Earlier, Pervez Khattak said that the ‘coward’ rulers had blocked all the roads to Islamabad because their seats were shaking.

Khattak said that Pakistan was being looted mercilessly. “We have to throw the rulers out of their offices”, he said. “This country was made for justice and prosperity. Do you like thieves?” he asked a charged crowd.

Khattak alleged that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had challenged the Pathans. “We’ll make an example out of these people if they tried to cut us off from Pakistan”, he said.
