ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will benefit all parts of Pakistan equally and its route also passes through the western part of Pakistan as well.
He revealed this while addressing a colorful ceremony being held to mark 65 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
The ceremony was also attended by the participants of the Ningxia Car Rally Friendly Tour to Pakistan. The China-Pakistan Friendship car rally will pass through several other countries as well during the tour.
Addressing the event, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid commented that CPEC will further strengthen Pak-China friendship. He hailed the friendship between the two countries by declaring it as “deeper than the deepest oceans”.
Artists from both the countries also exhibited their performances at the ceremony.
