Summary Three labourers were killed as chemical tank's roof of a textile factory collapsed in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - According to details, the labourers were working at the roof of the chemical tank of a textile factory in Ports Qasim area of Karachi on Monday when it suddenly collapsed as a result five labourers fell into it, Dunya News reported.
Rescue teams reached the spot and recued two labourers, Hassan and Saif-ur-Rehman, from the tank in critical condition and shifted them to Jinnah Hospital while three labourers died due to suffocation.
The dead labourers were identified as Raheel, Amir and Ijaz. Rescue teams are still struggling to recover the bodies of labourers from the chemical tank.
