Summary Pakistan Peoples Party and other opposition parties will participate in the meeting

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The meeting of heads of parliamentary parties will be held in Islamabad tomorrow in which issues pertaining to security situations on the Line of Control and Kashmir will be discussed, reported Dunya News.

Pakistan Peoples Party and other opposition parties will participate in the meeting. Moreover, all those leaders who severely criticize the government would also give their opinion over the matters.

The distinguishing thing about this meeting will be that chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party will represent his party at a high level meeting for the first time. The party has finalized their stance over the issue and would be represented in the meeting.

Despite of all the differences with the government, the PTI leadership will also be seen at the meeting under the leadership of Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Ghulam Ahmad Bilour will represent Awami National Party during the meeting and would be joined by other parliamentary leaders.

Meanwhile, the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rashid confirmed that Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad had not been invited to the meeting.

In his recent tweet, chairman PTI Imran khan severely criticized government’s decision of not inviting Sheikh Rasheed at the parliamentary parties meeting. He was of the opinion that like other single-representative parties that have been invited to the meeting, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad should also have been invited.

Imran Khan further said that unless and until, the representatives of all the parties participate in the meeting, the mutual consensus could not be developed.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad was of the opinion that the government accepted defeat by not inviting him to the meeting.
