KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday began its caravan from Karachi to attend the Raiwind March due to be held on September 30.

Haleem Adil Sheikh is leading the caravan which include a large number of party workers including females and specially prepared buses.

The caravan will stay in Sukkur in the evening and will join the Raiwind March on September 30.

PTI leader Imran Ismail said that if someone tried to harm the convoy, they will be given a befitting response while the responsibility will be over the government.

Arif Alvi exclaimed that those who were involved in corruption will not be given a free hand. He vowed that a huge congregation will certainly be held in Raiwind.

A severe traffic jam was witnessed on Shahra-e-Faisal, which is a major thoroughfare and connects the city to the airport.



The blockage caused immense inconvenience to the public.

Earlier, PTI’s Faisal Vawda was arrested and spent a night in jail for organising a rally on Shahra-e-Faisal.

PTI chief, Imran Khan, in a whirlwind tour of Lahore today will personally invite the Lahorites to join PTI’s Raiwind march.
