Summary The deputation of Cable Operators Association of Pakistan (COAP) led by Khalid Arian met CM Sindh
Karachi (Dunya News) – A deputation of cable operators from Sindh met Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah at CM House, reported Dunya News.
The deputation was lead by the chairman of Cable Operators Association of Pakistan (COAP) Khalid Arian. After the meeting, CM Sindh ordered the cancellation of sales tax receipts from the cable operators with immediate effect.
The sales tax receipts from cable operators are administered by Sindh Board of Revenue. The cable operators association also demanded that they should be allowed to lay cable wire underground.
On the occasion, CM Sindh was of the view that the insane amount of cable wires in Karachi city were affecting the beauty of the city and cable operators association should play its part in this regard.
