Provincial Information Minister of KhyberPakhtunkhwa Mian Iftikhar Hussain has confirmed the offers of presidency to Asfandyar Wali Khan during the long march last year, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. Speaking at a conference held at Khana Farhang Iran in Peshawar, Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that his party believes in politics of principles. He said that presidency is the prerogative of that party which enjoys majority in the parliament and hence Asfandyar Wali Kham rejected the offer. Mian Iftikhar Hussain was of the view that peace in Pakistan is conditional with peace and stability in Afghanistan. He also said that there should be communication of information between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the USA.
