Summary Farooq Sattar was coming back to Karachi from Hyderabad when his car met with an accident
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar was injured in a car accident on Sunday night near Nooriabad, as he was coming back to Karachi from Hyderabad.
Four other people, who were accompanying him in car, were also injured in the accident and were shifted to hospital.
The accident occurred due to over speeding and was so intense that the car’s windscreen and window panes smashed whereas the tyre burst.
MQM leader Khawaja Izhaar ul Hassan said that Farooq Sattar survived miraculously.
According to initial reports, X-ray of Farooq Sattar s shoulder, back and elbow was carried out however; he has not suffered fracture in any of his body part.
Hospital spokesperson has said that Sattar will be kept in the hospital for three to four days.
Numerous political leaders including Khawaja Izhaar ul Hassan, Amir Khan, Faisal Sabzwari, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Saleem Zia and Pakistan Peoples Party s (PPP) Shehla Raza reached the hospital after accident to inquire about Farooq Sattar’s health.
Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf ‘s (PTI) Imran Ismail, Pak Sirzameen Party’s (PSP) Mustafa Kamal and opposition leader Khursheed Shah expressed best wishes for Farooq Sattar.
