Summary Eight officials are apprehended while cases have also been filed against 18 employees
Islamabad (Dunya News) – Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan declared that a crackdown had been started against the former and current employees who were involved in issuing fake identity cards, reported Dunya News.
Chaudhry Nisar also informed that eight officials apprehended while cases had also been filed against 18 employees. He further told that search operation was also in continuation for the arrest of remaining culprits.
The interior minister announced that any kind of intervention and references would not be accepted in the crack-down as the matter was so serious and that it related to national integrity.
Chaudhry Nisar also appreciated the help from media and the public side in correction process. He also declared that a second phase of crack-down would soon be started after Eid. In the third phase, he vowed to take action against those who made fake ID cards.
