Rainwater in Karachi govt school takes a toll on attendance
Populations of mosquitoes and other vectors of different diseases have increased in the area
KARACHI (Dunya News) – It was reported on Thursday that rainwater, stagnant outside a government school in Korangi Teen and in its playground for at least a month has created issues for the students while administration is not paying attention.
Government secondary school in Korangi Teen area looks more of a pond and less of an educational institution, the locals said.
Sources stated that attendance in the school has fallen to an alarming level as parents are concerned about possibility of different water-borne diseases.
