ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.

Minimum temperature in Islamabad and Rawalpindi is likely to remain 23°C and maximum 34°C.

Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of south and upper Punjab, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Eastern Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.

Yesterday, highest rainfall was recorded in Rahim Yar Khan 64mm whereas maximum temperature was in Turbat 44°C.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Thursday morning was:

Islamabad 21°C, Lahore 28°C, Karachi 28°C, Peshawar 23°C, Quetta 19°C, Gilgit 18°C, Murree 16°C and Muzaffarabad 20°C.
