Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Ashfaq Kayani on Wednesday. He met the army chief for three times from September 2009 to March 2010. Shahbaz met COAS in September 2009 which kept in secret, however he confirmed the meeting later on and called it a routine meeting. Second time, he met with the Army Chief in February 2010 and discussed with him the matters to increase the capacity and capability of police department. In his third meeting with the army chief on March 14, 2010, Punjab CM discussed the security situation of Lahore after blasts. A meeting that held secretly was disliked by Nawaz Sharif. These meetings raise eyebrows that which matters of terrorism are discussed in the late-night meetings.
