Lahore: Five dead, five injured as roof of dilapidated house caves in
The rescue officials faced difficulties in operation due to congested streets.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least five people including two children were killed while five others sustained injuries as roof of a house collapsed near Delhi Gate in Lahore, reported on Sunday.
According to details, roof of a dilapidated house caved in when a wedding function was underway. The mishap took lives of a women, two girls Aqsa and Mahnoor and two guests Mahwish and Dua.
On the other hand, five other injured were immediately shifted to Mayo Hospital for medical assistance while the rescue officials also faced difficulties in operation due to congested streets.
